Our Services

MTLS provides professional interpretation and translation services to support effective multilingual communication.

Interpretation Services

  • On-Demand Over-the-Phone (OPI) & Video Remote Interpreting (VRI): Access professional interpreters instantly through our mobile app or desktop platform.

  • Prescheduled Interpretation: Schedule an interpreter in advance for phone, video, or onsite meetings.

  • Onsite Interpretation: Professional interpreters available for in-person meetings, appointments, court hearings, and business engagements. Requires advance scheduling and confirmation.

  • Conference Interpreting: Real-time interpretation for events and large meetings.

  • Emergency Interpretation: Expedited services for last-minute or urgent requests, subject to availability and potential rush fees.

  • Interpreter Availability: While we strive to fulfill all interpretation requests, availability is not guaranteed. If an interpreter is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative solution such as remote interpretation.

Translation Services

  • Professional Document Translation: High-quality translations for legal, medical, business, and other industries.

  • Certified Translations: Includes a certificate of accuracy upon request.

  • Rush Translation Services: Expedited processing for urgent documents (subject to additional fees).

  • Formatting & Layout Preservation: Available upon request (additional fees may apply).

  • File Submission & Review: Clients must approve project quotes before work begins. If a project is canceled after approval, the client may be responsible for any work completed up to that point.

Deliverables

Prescheduled Interpretation

  • Confirmation of interpreter assignment within 48 business hours of request.

  • Qualified interpreter available at the scheduled time and location.

  • Post-service reporting, including interpreter details and duration of service, upon request.

  • Onsite Interpretation

    • Requires advance booking (at least 72 hours' notice recommended).

    • Interpreter assigned based on language needs and subject matter expertise.

    • Travel time and mileage may apply depending on location.

    • Clients are responsible for ensuring the interpreter has the necessary access and information to perform effectively.

On-Demand Interpretation

  • 24/7 Access to an interpreter through the on-demand platform.

  • Connection to a qualified interpreter within an average wait time of 15 seconds.

  • Monthly usage reports available upon request.

Translation Services

  • Formal quote provided within 1 business day of file submission.

  • Expedited turnaround for urgent requests, subject to rush fees.

On Demand Interpretation Access Benefits

  • 24/7 Access to On-Demand Interpreters (usage fees apply per call).

  • Training Workshops to help your team use our services effectively.

  • Language Access Toolkits for staff and customer awareness.

  • Usage Reports available upon request to track service utilization.

Using Our Technology

  • Clients provide their own phone/internet equipment or use our Interpret Manager portal.

  • If using a third-party video platform, clients must provide their own meeting link.

  • MTLS is not responsible for internet or technical issues outside our platform.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their staff is trained to use the system.

Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Prescheduled Interpretation: Requires at least 72 hours' notice.

  • On-Demand Services: Available 24/7 via app.

  • Rush Requests: Less than 1 business day’s notice may incur a rush fee.

  • Cancellations: Must be made at least 48 business hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • No-Shows: If the client or requestor does not attend a scheduled appointment, the full service fee may be charged.

  • Rescheduling: Changes to an appointment must be confirmed in advance and are subject to interpreter availability.

Confidentiality & Compliance

  • MTLS follows strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.

  • All interpreters and translators sign confidentiality agreements.

  • Data is protected with encryption and security protocols.

  • Clients should not share sensitive data via unencrypted communication methods.

Working with MTLS

  • We recruit top-tier linguists and interpreters.

  • All services are provided with professional quality assurance.

  • Clients may not hire MTLS interpreters directly outside of our platform.

  • MTLS is not responsible for third-party interpreter performance when provided through external platforms.

  • Feedback on interpreter or translator performance is encouraged to maintain high-quality standards.

Billing & Payments

  • Monthly billing is based on service usage.

  • Invoices are due within 15 days of issuance.

  • Late payments may result in service suspension.

  • Clients are responsible for all services requested by their authorized users.

  • Payments made via credit card may incur a processing fee.

Resolving Issues

  • If you have concerns about a service, contact us within 7 business days.

  • We will correct translation errors at no additional cost if reported in time.

  • Disputes over service quality will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Clients must notify us immediately if there is an issue with an interpreter during a session.

Liability & Limitations

  • While we strive for accuracy, language services inherently involve nuances, and minor variations in translation or interpretation may occur.

  • MTLS is not liable for decisions made based on translations or interpretations provided.

  • MTLS is not responsible for third-party platform issues or technology malfunctions.

Changes to Terms

  • MTLS may update these terms as needed.

  • Clients will be notified of major changes.

  • Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
